Protein that travels
Plant-based protein comes in two shapes: powder that needs water and a shaker, or a shake the size of a soda can. Neither fits in a jacket pocket, and neither works at hour six of a travel day.
The one format that solved this — the small liquid protein shot — has only ever existed as collagen, which is an animal product and, gram for gram, close to the worst protein there is for building and holding muscle.
Volo is a single-serve plant protein shot built on yeast protein: a complete amino acid profile, high in leucine, and dense enough to fit a real dose in a very small package.
It is made for people who eat plant-based, people who travel constantly, and people eating less than they used to and needing every gram to count.
